NEW RELEASE AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH
The highly anticipated soundtrack for Avatar: Fire and Ash has officially been released. The soundtrack presents over three hours of original music, introducing major new themes, textures and innovative electronica to the world of Pandora. A total of 1,907 pages of music were brought to life through the dedication and artistry of more than 215 musicians, singers, orchestrators, copyists, soloists, editors, engineers, and scoring teams in Los Angeles.
The soundtrack is now available for streaming on all platforms and for pre-order on vinyl.

BIOGRAPHY
Simon Franglen is a multi-award-winning composer and producer of film, classical, and contemporary music. He’s currently following on his critically acclaimed score for Avatar: The Way of Water with the score to Avatar: Fire and Ash released in late 2025.
Franglen’s credits include three of the four top-grossing films of all time and six of the top-selling albums. He was recently awarded the World Soundtrack Awards Discovery of the Year, the Hollywood Music in Media Award, the ASCAP Award winner for the top score. He’s also won the Record of the Year Grammy among other awards. Other credits include multiple film and TV projects with Antoine Fuqua, Terrence Malick and others. He has collaborated with singers and musicians from across the world, from South Pacific Islands, to Mongolia. Franglen is also known for his cutting-edge work in immersive audio, and is a consultant to several multi-national companies on the intersection of music and technology. He has major art and commercial installations running around the world.
Born in the UK, he grew up a wannabe punk, went to college in Manchester, spent too much time at the Haçienda and then dived straight into London recording studios, working initially with legendary producer Trevor Horn, before striking out on his own. Franglen moved to LA where he became a top-line record producer and session musician with dozens of multi-platinum albums and singles. Franglen’s music credits range from The Weeknd, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Quincy Jones, Whitney Houston, Madonna and Toni Braxton to producing UK grime acts. His work as an arranger and film musician include multiple projects with James Horner, Alan Silvestri, Thomas Newman, Howard Shore, and his first mentor, John Barry. He created the gritty electronica for David Fincher’s Se7en and David Cronenberg’s Crash, and produced the vocals for Moulin Rouge.
Alongside film scores, upcoming work includes a multi-year immersive and installation project in the USA, and a new orchestral and choral work to be premiered in late 2026.
